Parent Information

Children do not need to be potty trained to attend our program but need to show a readiness for preschool. We look for three main areas of readiness: an ability to separate at drop-off time, an ability to communicate needs and follow simple directions, as well as an ability to listen and pay attention to a short lesson.

On their first day, children will need a pair of indoor shoes and an extra set of clothes inside a small backpack.

Our school year runs September-June and follows most holidays observed by the Public and Catholic School Divisions.

Fees

  1. 2024/2025 Monthly fees for programs: 
    3 year old program Tuesday/Thursday $175.00
    4 year old program Monday/Wednesday/Friday $225.00.

  2. A $50 material fee will be due with the first month’s tuition. The material fee is non-refundable. 

  3. Two payments are required upon registration:
    i) $40.00 Non-refundable registration fee.
    ii) A half month’s deposit. The deposit for the three year old program is $90. The deposit for the four year old program is $110. Your deposit will secure your child’s spot in the program and will go towards your child’s last month of preschool.  This amount can be paid by cheque dropped off during school hours or an e-transfer to gingerbreadregina@gmail.com.

  4. The monthly fee is to be paid through nine scheduled e-transfers (Sept-May), to be received by the first of each month. June tuition will be paid in part using your initial deposit, and the remaining amount will be due June 1st. (The non-refundable $50 material fee will be due with the September payment, or whichever month your child starts preschool)

  5. We require 14 days Notice of Cancellation/Withdrawal.  As long as a child’s name is on the register, the monthly fee must be paid regardless of sickness or vacation. If less than 14 days notice of withdrawal is given, the deposit amount will be used towards the final month of tuition.

  6. Fees are due the first of the month. Monthly fees not paid by the 10th day of each month will be subject to a $25 late fee charge. If monthly fees are not received by the 15th day of that month, the child’s name will be considered withdrawn from the register and the initial deposit amount will be used to cover the month’s tuition.
